Mole Genetics was founded in June, 2005. The business idea was to make an automated solution for nucleic acid preparation available to all research labs. In February 2008 Mole Genetics launched the GeneMole instrument for the European market. The GeneMole is designed to extract nucleic acids from a wide range of samples and deliver high quality DNA and RNA at an affordable price.
Printers have gone from being large and expensive to being smaller and cheaper. They have become simpler to use, and they are better than ever. We decided it was time to start a similar revolution in research laboratories. Our goal was to make a simpler and cheaper machine by taking away everything that wasn’t needed for DNA and RNA extraction.
Simplifying advanced technology isn’t easy. But GeneMole is the sophisticated proof that, sometimes, less is more. Now we dream of simplifying life in laboratories around the world.
