The Mole Story
It all started with a desktop printer. Mole Genetics noticed that printers have gone from being large and expensive to being smaller and cheaper. They have become simpler to use, and they are better than ever.
We decided it was time to start a similar revolution in research laboratories.
We started by focusing our attention on DNA extraction. Our goal was to make a simpler and cheaper machine by taking away everything that wasn’t needed for DNA extraction. Beakers and tubes were replaced by plastic strips, 23 motors were reduced to 7, and the time spent on manual labour was reduced from 40 minutes to 4.
A machine was developed with no unnecessary functions. After only two years, GeneMole was ready for action.
We have enjoyed international success before. Now we dream of simplifying life in laboratories around the world.
Simplifying advanced technology isn’t easy. But GeneMole is the sophisticated proof that, sometimes, less is more.
